Thesis Guide

The Thesis Guide is your essential guide to writing a long essay, treatise, dissertation or thesis at the University of Sydney. It contains many tips and ideas for writing your thesis as well as explaining all the relevant University policy.

This guide will be useful to you if you are undertaking postgraduate study by research, but is also applicable for coursework students who are required to complete research papers.

You can download The Thesis Guide by clicking on the cover image to your left, however, not all information will be current. We recommend confirming information regarding your candidature and responsibilities with your Faculty and Department if you have any queries.
